Indian collaboration on GMO detection technology

India’s National Bureau of Plant Genetics Resources (NBPGR - New Delhi) has agreed a deal with diagnostics company Amar Immunodiagnostics (Hyderabad) for commercialising NBPGR’s polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based technology for the detection of genetically modified organisms, the biotechnology newswire, Checkbiotech, reports. The NBPGR is looking for further collaboration and technology transfer to interested parties.
