Argentine OKs interim agchems
Argentina has granted interim authorisations of formulated products to control European grapevine moths ( Lobesia botrana), the country’s animal and plant health inspection service, the Senasa, says. There are 19 pesticide products among the registrations. They include five for Syngenta, four for Dow AgroSciences, and two each for BASF and DuPont. The August approvals were granted in order to toughen the controls following a “phytosanitary emergency declaration” earlier this year ( Agrow No 593, p 19).
