Syngenta debuts Plenus soybean STs in Argentina
Syngenta has launched its triple-protection soybean seed treatment, Plenus Avicta, in Argentina. Plenus Avicta, includes the nematicidal seed treatment, Avicta (abamectin), for which this launch represents its debut in Argentina. It offers effective nematode and below-ground bacteria that attack roots, the company says. Syngenta has also introduced a second version of the product, Plenus, containing unnamed fungicides and insecticides as well as an inoculant granting 60 days’ “life extension”. The active ingredients in Plenus offer contact and systemic action against frogeye leaf spot ( Cercospora sojina), soil and root fungi, thrips and annual white grubs, newswire Infocampo reports.
