Mangalore Chemicals to enter pesticide business
Indian fertiliser company Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers (MCF - Bangalore) will start marketing pesticides in the financial year starting April 1st, reports Indian newspaper The Times of India. The pesticides will be marketed under the brand name, Mangala, which the company uses for its fertiliser products. The newspaper quotes MCF managing director Deepak Anand as saying that it plans to go in for toll manufacturing until it is viable to set up its own facility. Three units have been identified for the purpose.
