Dow to move US seed testing activities
Dow AgroSciences is to relocate its US seed quality control activities from Marshalltown, Iowa to a new facility at the Purdue Research Park in West Lafayette, Indiana. The move is part of the company’s expansion of its global seed business and will allow closer collaboration with researchers at its headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana. The new facility is due to be completed in the third quarter of 2011, with relocation to be finalised during the first quarter of 2012. Dow already operates a 15,000 sq ft (1,400 m 2) research facility at Purdue Research Park ( Agrow No 578, p 3).
