Brazilian university to monitor agchem market
A Brazilian university and the national toxicology authorities have agreed a deal to monitor the pesticide market. The Parana FUNPAR University (Curitiba) has developed software that collect data as the national health surveillance agency, the Anvisa, had requested. The data being compiled are to include volume sales of each product by state, customer, industry sector and wholesaler; and the same for exports. Imported products will be monitored by volume and supplier.
