New products boost Amvac by 44% in Q1
Sales of newly acquired products and growth from its existing range boosted American Vanguard’s revenues by 44.3% to $67.4 million in the first quarter of 2011. Approximately two-thirds of the increase came from the acquisition of the insecticides, Mocap (ethoprophos), Nemacur (fenamiphos) and Aztec 2.1% (tebupirimfos + cyfluthrin), from Bayer CropScience in December 2010 ( Agrow No 607, p 2).
