EU provisional approvals extended for five new ais

The European Commission has allowed EU member states to extend existing three-year provisional approvals to April 30th 2012 for five new active ingredients: Citrex Nederland’s fungicide, ascorbic acid; Kureha’s fungicide, ipconazole; German company Sourcon Padena’s biopesticide, Pseudomonas fluorescens strain DSMZ 13134; Bayer CropScience’s insecticide, spiromesifen; and BASF’s herbicide, topramezone.
