Brazil reviews anti-dumping fee on Chinese glyphosate
The Brazilian chamber of foreign trade, the Camex, has accepted a request from Monsanto to review the anti-dumping duty for the herbicide, glyphosate, in all its forms from China. It issued a circular last month through the official gazette. The circular notes enough evidence had been presented that the anti-dumping duty applied to such imports is no longer sufficient to counteract dumping. It notes that the Camex “does not consider China to be a predominantly market economy”. Normal price has been calculated from prices paid in the EU for the herbicide.
