Sipcam 2010 sales down 6%
Italian agrochemical company Sipcam-Oxon (Milan) posted a 5.7% drop in total sales to €312 million ($452 million at the current rate) in 2010 compared with the previous year, and not €300 million as previously reported. The fall was the second consecutive annual drop in sales, following a 30% jump in 2008 ( Agrow No 597, p 9). Agrochemicals, intermediates and plant nutrition accounted for €300 million ($434 million). Sales from new participating companies in China have not been included in the annual figures, the company told Agrow.
