BASF debuts Ventur in Chile
BASF has launched its fungicide, Ventur (epoxiconazole + boscalid), in Chile. Ventur is the first carboxamide-based product for use on barley, oats and wheat, BASF notes. It has a long residual action for the control of Septoria spp, orange leaf rust ( Puccinia spp), powdery mildew ( Blumeria graminis) and other cereal diseases, including net blotch ( Dreschslera teres) in barley and oats. It is to be marketed as an anti-resistance tool, the company adds.
