Brazil closes Chinese glyphosate duty review

The Brazilian authorities have closed the review on the anti-dumping duty for the herbicide, glyphosate, in all its forms from China on the request of the petitioner. Monsanto had petitioned the review. The Brazilian chamber of foreign trade, the Camex, accepted Monsanto’s request to review the duty last May, accepting that enough evidence had been presented that the duty may no longer be sufficient to counteract dumping ( Agrow No 618, p 18). The review was to go on until May next year.
