Dhanuka sets up subsidiary in Bangladesh
Indian company Dhanuka Agritech (New Delhi) has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Dhanuka Agri-Solutions, for selling its crop protection products in Bangladesh, reports Indian newspaper Business Standard. The company says that its exports to Bangladesh are negligible but it has applied to register ten products, some of which it hopes to start selling in the next quarter. It is aiming for revenues of Rs 100 million ($2.2 million) in the next three years. In April, Dhanuka revealed plans to add 1,000 distributors to its distribution network in India on the way to doubling gross turnover to Rs 10,000 million ($216.5 million) in the next couple of years ( Agrow No 615, p 5).
