Bayer grants ST partners upgrade in Brazil
Bayer CropScience is to supply three of its Brazilian commercial partners with additional seed treatment technology. Coopavel Cooperativa Agroindustrial (Cascavel), Copacol Cooperativa Agroindustrial (Cafeilândia) and Sementes Roos (Não-Me-Toque) will gain access to “expertise and specialist technical assistance, exclusive technology, innovative equipment, and state-of-the-art products”, Bayer’s seed treatment co-ordinator Siegfrid Baumann says. “Together, this support will allow us to meet our clients’ needs in a more personalised manner,” he adds. Bayer’s Gustafon branded technology is “among the most renowned in the sector”, the company says. It provides more precise weighing of seeds, appropriate product dose, the right flexibility in the process due to its high productive capabilities, and greater operator safety, as it avoids the preparation of syrup.
