Brazil state sets obsolete agchem deadline
The Sao Paulo state environmental corporation, the Cetesb, has delayed by 180 days the deadline for individuals and companies to declare their possession of obsolete pesticides in the state. The declarations will allow the corporation to carry out a survey of such stocks. The state set the new deadline to run from September 27th. The Cetesb particularly seeks to quantify, collect and eliminate stocks of persistent organic pollutants.
