Bayer/ UPV university found CP professorship
Bayer CropScience and the Spanish Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) are collaborating on a crop protection research professorship. They have signed a deal this month creating the Bayer CropScience professorship. The research entity will be directed from UPV’s agronomy school. It will promote and develop scientific know how for competitive and sustainable crop protection. School director Nenemesio Fernández says the professorship will encourage co-operation and knowledge transfer among students, the University and the company. “As a result, crop protection R&D will be intensified to the benefit of consumers,” he adds.
