Brazil Anvisa suspends agchem production at three plants

Brazilian authorities have suspended the sale of various pesticides of three agrochemical producers for various infractions. The national health surveillance agency, the Anvisa, carried out inspections at German company DVA Agro’s Brazilian operations at Campinas, Ourofino Agronegocio (Cravinhos) and Prentiss Quimica (Curitiba) late last month. The suspensions can last for up to 90 days, and the producers have 15 days to present evidence for their defence against the findings.
