Bayer debuts Adengo in Italy
Bayer CropScience has launched its maize herbicide, Adengo (thiencarbazone-methyl 20 g/litre + isoxaflutole 50 g/litre + cyprosulfamide safener 33 g/litre), in Italy. The suspension concentrate formulation is for pre- and early post-emergence use against broadleaf weeds and grasses. Adengo was launched in Argentina in 2010, and the same combinations debuted in the US as Corvus ( Agrow No 598, p 38). The first approval for thiencarbazone-methyl came in 2008 in Romania, where it was also introduced as Adengo ( Agrow No 551, p 22). The Italian registration was granted in December 2011.
