More uses for MBI's Regalia in US

The US biopesticide company, Marrone Bio Innovations (MBI - Davis, California), has received a US label expansion for its disease resistance activator, Regalia ( Reynoutria sachalinensis extract), for use on several field crops. The new uses include cotton, oilseeds, sugar beet and sugar cane. The label also now covers several soil-borne diseases as well as foliar pathogens, MBI points out. Regalia has been used in specialty crops, such as tomatoes, peppers, citrus and grapevines, since its introduction in 2009 ( Agrow No 553, p 23).
