Canada follows US e-business path
The Canadian industry association, CropLife Canada, has endorsed an initiative by the US non-profit business consortium, AgGateway (Washington, DC), to connect Canadian agrochemical manufacturers, distributors and retailers. The “Crop Protection Canada Connectivity” project is aimed at improving ordering and product information traceability, and cutting costs. It is scheduled to start during the first quarter of this year. AgGateway’s e-business approach is already in use by the US crop protection industry.
