Bayer widens Brazil debut for Fox
Bayer CropScience has widened the marketing of its fungicide, Fox (trifloxystrobin + prothioconazole), in Brazil. It launched the product in the centre-west region of the country last year for use against Asian soybean rust ( Phakopsora pachyrhizi - Agrow No 614, p 24). The company rates last year’s product introduction as its “best ever launch”, and is targeting new territory in the south for the 2012/13 season. Fox is also being targeted for the control of anthracnose ( Colletotrichum spp) and root rot ( Corynespora cassiicola).
