Bayer debuts Luna range in US
Bayer CropScience has launched its fluopyram-based Luna family of fungicides for use in the US this season. The EPA proposed the registration of five fluopyram-based products in December 2011 ( Agrow No 631, p 20). The fungicide was developed for use on more than 70 crops, including fruit, vegetables, potatoes and ornamentals. “Luna offers fruit and vegetable growers a new level of control for a broad range of problematic diseases, including Alternaria blight, scab, powdery mildew and white mould,” says Bayer CropScience’s chief operating officer Lykele van der Broek.
