Arysta/DuPont ink fungicide deal in Pakistan

The Pakistani subsidiaries of Arysta LifeScience and DuPont have signed a distribution agreement in the country through which Arysta will have access to DuPont's fungicide range. Arysta will distribute and promote DuPont's fungicide, Curzate (cymoxanil), for potatoes and other high-value crops. It will also work with DuPont to develop Kocide (copper hydroxide). “Our agreement with DuPont will further strengthen our offering to customers,” says Arysta LifeScience Pakistan chief executive Dr Amir Jafri. In 2007, DuPont's Pakistan subsidiary entered into a strategic partnership with United Distributors Pakistan for the distribution of its key crop protection products including Curzate ( Agrow No 514, p 1).
