Canadian approval for MBI's Regalia Maxx
The US biopesticide company, Marrone Bio Innovations (MBI – Davis, California), has received Canadian approval for its biofungicide, Regalia Maxx ( Reynoutria sachalinensis extract). The approval covers outdoor and greenhouse use on a range of fruit and vegetables, as well as on wheat and ornamentals. The product can be used alone or in tank mixes for the control of diseases such as powdery mildews, Botrytis spp, Septoria spp and bacterial blight, MBI notes. The company has appointed Engage Agro as its exclusive distributor in Canada (see this issue).
