Australia to OK DuPont's Talendo
The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has proposed the approval of DuPont’s fungicide, Talendo (proquinazid 200 g/litre), for the control of powdery mildew ( Uncinula necator) on grapevines. It has also proposed the registration of proquinazid as a new active ingredient. Proquinazid has been registered in several European countries since 2005 as Talendo on grapevines and as Talius on cereals. The APVMA decision is open to public comment until June 20th.
