Bayer gets Alion use extensions in Chile
Chile has granted use extensions for Bayer CropScience’s residual herbicide, Alion (indaziflam), to table grapes and hazelnuts. Bayer launched Alion in Chile last year for use on fruit and nut trees to control broadleaf weeds and grasses ( Agrow No 618, p 27). It was the first product based on the active ingredient to be registered in South America. Bayer says the initial launch proved “highly successful”.
