US updates azinphos analysis

An updated US EPA analysis of the economic impacts of the planned cancellation of all remaining uses of the organophosphate insecticide, azinphos-methyl, is similar to that carried out when the six-year phase-out decision was made in 2006. The EPA extended the original four-year phase-out to allow a manageable transition to newer pesticides ( Agrow No 508, p 14).
