Rosetta Green/ISU ink GM crop deal

Israeli agricultural biotechnology company Rosetta Green (Rehovot) and the US Iowa State University (ISU - Ames) have signed a licensing deal for the use of a microRNA nematode resistance gene discovered by ISU. The Israeli company will use its proprietary technology to introduce the licensed microRNA gene in commercial crops. The gene can reduce nematode infestations in plants by half, says Rosetta.
