Bayer debuts Solomon in Argentina
Bayer CropScience has launched its new “O-Teq” formulation insecticide, Solomon (beta-cyfluthrin 90 g/litre + imidacloprid 210 g/litre), in Argentina for use on soybeans. It is for the control of thrips, soybean stalk weevils ( Sternechus subsignatus) and lepidopteran pests. The formulation doubles the speed of penetration into the plant and target pests. Bayer’s O-Teq technology allows the use of a series of adjuvants that improve the biological efficacy of the combined active ingredients, the company says.
