Bayer to open non-crop lab in Brazil
Bayer CropScience’s non-crop pesticide business, Environmental Science, is to open a laboratory in Paulinia, Brazil in early 2013. It says that the facility will be the “most modern” of its kind, for the development of products for use in home and garden pest control and stored grain. The site will cover 1,000 m 2, some ten times greater than its present operation. The facility will act as a “knowledge transfer hub” for staff and customers, Bayer adds.
