Canada OKs Syngenta potato treatment

Syngenta has received Canadian approval for the fungical/insecticidal potato seed piece treatment, Cruiser Maxx D Potato (fludioxonil + difenoconazole + thiamethoxam). It controls silver scurf ( Helminthosporium solani), Fusarium spp and Rhizoctonia spp diseases, as well as Colorado potato beetles ( Leptinotarsa decemlineata), aphids and leafhoppers, Syngenta notes. The company already markets Cruiser Maxx brand seed treatments in Canada for cereals and pulses.
