Jiangsu Huifeng starts up epoxiconazole plant

Chinese company Jiangsu Huifeng Agrochemical has put a 1,000 tonnes/year epoxiconazole fungicide plant into operation. Jiangsu Huifeng, listed on the Chinese stock market, has started delivering orders of the active ingredient. The company believes that the new plant will help increase its share of China’s fungicide market and boost its operating performance. Jiangsu Huifeng’s capacity of 7,000 tonnes of the herbicide, bromoxynil octanoate, accounted for over 80% of the Chinese domestic market in 2011 ( Agrow No 631, p 5).
