Bayer debuts Fedor in Italy
Bayer CropScience has launched its combination herbicide, Fedor (flufenacet + metribuzin), in Italy for use on potatoes. Fedor is a water-dispersible granule formulation that controls a wide range of grass weeds and some broadleaf weeds and is particularly effective against cleavers ( Galium aparine) and black nightshade ( Solanum nigrum). Bayer gained the Italian registration last year. The combination is already available in several EU member states and debuted in the US for use on maize and soybeans in 1999 as Axiom.
