BASF's Zidua approved for US soybeans
BASF has received expanded US approval for its herbicide, Zidua (Kumiai Chemical’s pyroxasulfone 85%), for use on soybeans. The company gained approval for use on maize last year ( Agrow No 643, p 18). Zidua has a wide application window from prior to planting to early post-emergence, BASF points out. It can be used alone or with BASF’s Sharpen (saflufenacil – trade-marked as Kixor) for burndown and long-lasting residual weed control, the company adds.
