AWWA webcast: Possible changes in EPA regulation of four water contaminants - July 28

The American Water Works Association is hosting a webcast July 28 on possible changes in EPA regulation of four water contaminants — acrylamide, epichlorohydrin, trichloroethylene (TCE), and tetrachloroethylene (PCE). In its latest six-year review of 71 existing drinking water standards, released in March, EPA determined it may need to tighten standards for those four contaminants. "During this webcast, presenters will explain how the EPA conducted the review, why these four specific contaminants were selected for potential regulatory revisions, and discuss possible implications for utilities," AWWA notes.
