Mexican authority harmonizes GMO monitoring

Mexican biosafety authorities have harmonized monitoring activities on genetically modified crop trials. The Mexican food quality and health service, the Senasica, has designed a manual to aid in making activities consistent across sites and "in guaranteeing an adequate and efficient level of protection" to plants, animals and marine life. It has also added to its technical staff in the ongoing monitoring across several trial sites and nearby plots in the country.
