Science for EPA's Future - June 17-18

The second meeting of the National Academy of Sciences' project, Science for EPA's future, will take place June 17-18 at the National Academy's Keck Center, 500 5th St. NW, Washington, D.C. A public session will take place the first morning with opening remarks from Paul Anastas, assistant administrator for EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD), on the study background and expectations. There will also be a session on Chemical Safety for Sustainability: EPA Research to Meet 21st Century Needs, featuring Jeff Morris, ORD's National Program Director for Nanotechnology. The remainder of the meeting will be closed to the public.
