EPA's new Chemical Data Reporting rule requires careful preparation
Entities that process, manufacture or import chemicals listed on the TSCA inventory will find that the upcoming reporting period1 requires more preparation, due to the expanded reporting requirements and a change in how the information must be submitted to EPA. EPA's new Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) rule2, which became effective Sept. 15, 2011, updates the previous TSCA Inventory Update Reporting (IUR) rule and imposes new reporting obligations on regulated industry.
