BASF launches Priaxor in Argentina
BASF has presented its foliar fungicide, Priaxor, in Argentina for use on citrus fruit. It is based on fluxapyroxad (trade-marked as Xemium), and pyraclostrobin (trade-marked as F500). Priaxor provides broad-spectrum control against diseases such as black spot (Guignardia citricarpa), anthracnose (Colletotrichum spp) and Botrytis spp. The company debuted its first fluxapyroxad product in Argentina last year combining the same active ingredients and epoxiconazole as Orquesta Ultra for use on soybeans (Agrow No 647, p 20).
