Isagro sales flat in Q2
Italian agrochemical company Isagro (Milan) posted a slight dip in sales to €51 million ($66.9 million at the current rate) in the second quarter of 2010 compared with €51.7 million (€67.8 million) the same period last year. That was despite a boost from its Asian subsidiary. The company has confirmed its end-of-year targets that were set out earlier this year in its updated business plan for 2010-13 ( Agrow No 592, p 2). Agrochemicals accounted for just over 93% of sales in the first six months of 2009 ( Agrow No 575, p 10).
