China's agchem exports boom in Q4
China’s agrochemical exports jumped by 54.7% in value terms during the fourth quarter of 2010 to $490 million, compared with the same period the previous year. Volumes also increased significantly, up by 43.5% to 173,000 tonnes. The data were published by the Chinese Customs Department through the national newspaper, the AgriGoods Herald. The average export price during the period was $2,833/tonne. Export values for the whole year were up by 25.1% to $1,770 million, while volumes rose by 20.8% to 613,000 tonnes.
