MAI agchem sales inch higher in Q4
Makhteshim-Agan Industries (MAI) posted a 1.5% rise in agrochemical sales in the fourth quarter of 2010 compared with the same period the previous year. Revenues inched up to $456.6 million. Volumes rose by 8%, while prices fell by 5%. However, towards the end of last year prices stabilised and there are signs of upward pressure at least in South America, the company notes.
