Isagro agchems up 9% in Q2
Italian agrochemical company Isagro (Milan) posted rising sales of about 9% to some €37 million ($53 million at the current rate) for its agrochemical products on a pro-forma basis in the second quarter of 2011. Sales of all products were up by 15.9% on a pro-forma basis. The figures discount discontinued businesses. Isagro divested several of its businesses earlier this year, including its 50% stake in the Brazilian joint venture, Sipcam Isagro Brasil (SIB - Agrow No 611, p 2). It was completed in the second quarter.
