Meghmani’s Q1 sales up 14%
Indian company Meghmani Organics’ (Ahmedabad) agrochemical sales went up by 14.2% to Rs 1,208.5 million ($26.2 million at the current rate) in its first quarter ended June 30th 2010. Domestic sales increased by 9.9% to Rs 360.5 million ($7.8 million). Exports, making up over 70% of total sales, grew by 16.1% to Rs 848.1 million ($18.4). Increased volume sales of the insecticidal active ingredients, acephate and permethrin, boosted exports.
