Sumitomo’s propyrisulfuron launched in Japan
Sumitomo has launched its new herbicide, propyrisulfuron, in Japan. This represents the first global introduction for the active ingredient. It was registered at the end of last year for use on paddy rice and controls barnyard grass ( Echinochloa crus-galli) and broadleaf weeds. The ai is available in flowable, granule and “jumbo” formulations. There is no English language brand name as yet.
