Italy approves Syngenta’s Voliam Targo
Syngenta has been granted registration in Italy for its combination insecticide. Voliam Targo (DuPont’s chlorantraniliprole 45 g/litre + abamectin 18 g/litre). It is for the control of codling moths ( Cydia spp), as well as pear psyllids ( Psylla pyricola) on pome fruit, tomato leaf miners ( Tuta absoluta) and other lepidopteran pests on vegetables, and red-spotted spider mites ( Tetranychus urticae) on nectarines and peaches. Syngenta has a global licence from DuPont to use chlorantraniliprole in combination products ( Agrow No 491, p 1).
