Chile grants wider OK for DuPont’s Coragen
Chile has extended the approval of DuPont’s chlorantraniliprole (trade-marked as Rynaxypyr)-based insecticide, Coragen, this month. Coragen is a suspension concentrate formulation for use as an aerial application on tomatoes, potatoes, cauliflowers and Brussels sprouts. The product was first approved for use on grapevines for the control of European grapevine moths ( Lobesia botrana) in 2010. The first South American approval for chlorantraniliprole was granted in neighbouring Argentina in 2008 for use on pome and stone fruit ( Agrow No 556 p 23).
