Syngenta presents Revus to Spain’s potato growers
Syngenta has presented its fungicide, Revus (mandipropamid), to potato growers at an event in Seville, Spain. The company was granted approval for Revus in 2011 for use on lettuces, potatoes and tomatoes for the control of downy mildews. The EU Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health recently voted for the active ingredient’s full approval ( Agrow No 658, p 7). For the EU approval, Syngenta is required to submit certain confirmatory data by July 31st 2015. Revus holds provisional approvals in the EU’s other 26 member states.
