Exosect secures £2.3 million investment
The UK pest control company, Exosect (Winchester, Hampshire), has secured over £2.3million ($3.6 million) of funding for the launch of new products across the UK, other Europe countries and the US. The backing involves a number of new investors, including a £1 million ($1.6 million) commitment by technology investor MTI Partners. “This new investment presents a tremendous opportunity for Exosect to bring to market new products,” says its managing director, Martin Brown. The company says that all its existing investors have reinvested in the company. It received an investment of £3.3 million ($5.2 million at the current rate) in early 2008 from a consortium of investors, led by UK-based Oxford Capital Partners ( Agrow No 539, p 4).
