BASF debuts fungicide co-pack in Spain

BASF has launched a fungicide co-pack in Spain based on its established products Comet (pyraclostrobin - trade-marked as F500) and Lovit (epoxiconazole), for use on cereals. The combination provides selective and persistent control through several stages, primarily preventive against the major cereal diseases including powdery mildews, barley leaf stripe (Pyrenophora graminea) and net blotch (P teres), BASF notes. Lovit is sold in Spain as a suspension concentrate formulation for the control of powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis) and Septoria spp on barley and wheat. Comet is an emulsifiable concentrate formulation for use on cereals. The pack dosage recommended is at 1.5 litres/ha.
